Greetings
Prof. Dr. Ronald Dahl, Aarhus University Hospital, Aarhus, DenmarkProfessor of Respiratory Medicine
Former European Respiratory Society (ERS) President
It is a special pleasure for me to introduce this innovative, interactive online Continuing Medical Education programme "Inhalers in Aerosol Therapy".
This eCME course is a premiere, as the first online pneumology CME's accredited throughout Europe by the European Board for Accreditation in Pneumology (EBAP). Regardless of whether you are in France, Poland, Germany, my home country Denmark or another European country, once you have successfully completed this programme you will receive an EBAP certificate in the language of your choice and, from your local medical chamber resp. association, your CME points.
EBAP accreditation is a guarantee that a CME fulfils the highest quality standards. A physician who chooses an EBAP accredited CME course will know that it has been carefully assessed according to European quality standards for CME activities.
The EBAP works in accordance with principles established by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) and accredits only international CME activities while simultaneously working with national CME systems. The EBAP also provides a uniform accreditation system in the assessment of European CME activities in pneumology.
I would also like to extend my thanks at this point to my German co-author Dr. Thomas Voshaar, Chief Physician in the Med. Klinik III at the Bethanien Hospital, Germany for his scientific advice.
I'd like to wish much success in this CME course focused on the today and tomorrow of "Inhalers in Aerosol Therapy" and that you discover many interesting facts and information while perusing this website.
Sincerely
Ronald Dahl
